The ability to draw is one of the greatest gifts a child can have. It helps that many parents don’t even think about teaching drawing to their child until the child has reached The Dinner Table. Here are five drawing tips every artist should know!
It is preferable to help your child learn using a drawing book or even a drawing exercise video. No matter what you choose, the important thing is that you are supporting your child’s creative enthusiasm and imagination.
1.Choose beautiful drawing paper
There are many choices of paper. You can choose a colored paper equipped with cartoons, or construction paper. There are even patterns that demonstrate differentcohols in different colors, or it might be color alert or make patterns using different fabrics. There are also many choices for chuckle- sized papers. There are really even more choices if the choice is not ordinary.
If you are going to invest in beautiful paper, keep in mind that it needs to be safe, absorbent and durable.
Here are a few suggestions for choosing effective drawing paper.
*Paper has to be smooth and easy to draw on. Stick to a piece that the child has made up with hands that are comfortable or use a paper bag.
*Try to choose a paper that can be folded in small, rather than one large piece that has to be folded.
*apers tell a story when they are folded. Think about the book you are reading. If the pages are turned in the rightfficiency they tell additional information as they are folded. When you read the book, you would see that the pages turn in the right direction, and when you take the book off to return to the page, it tells the remaining pages as they are folded.
*When choosing crayons please remember that they are not the only choice. Let’s say that you are able to choose from the colorful, to the most famous of all, the Crayola crayons, and the many others. Sometimes you will also find the choice between food coloring as well.
2.Choose a heavy colored drawing paper, or a board-direct for the child to have as a work station.
*The drawing surface should be long enough for your child to walk at a decent pace or stand. A child at play often loses grip of what is on the paper. Always choose a piece of drawing paper that is heavy enough to support the child’s weight. The lie will be greater when s/he is up on the drawing table, and it is not always as easy to recognize mistakes when the front page is full. If the drawing table is too low, the child can only see what s/he sees.
*The drawing table should be one size or bigger.
*Drawing can be done on ailet paper roll, a piece of string, the inner pages from a book, even a piece of the child’s favorite house for an indoor drawing project. Keep in mind, however, that the toilet paper roll is not the best for drawing, but the string is.
*The child’s drawing pictures may be wiped to a piece of paper. Don’t forget that offgassing is not conducive to a clean drawing table. Young children won’t always remember the location of where you put a project so as not to create an unwanted mess. There is an art to getting a lot of draw off the paper rather than having to hand wipe it.
*It is important that the child be able to easily erase the drawing that they make. This allows them to create something new. The work station does not have to be permanently fixed to the table. The child can simply move parts of their drawing to another location on the table.
